GOLDEN RETRIEVER BREED COUNCIL JUDGES LISTS

Individuals cannot apply directly to the Breed Council for inclusion in its Judges Lists, you need to apply directly to the Club/s.

A generic CV questionnaire is available to download together with contact details for all Club Secretaries.

Breed Council holds A & B Judges lists but not a C List; and Breed Council Lists are separate from the Clubs’ although are derived from their lists.

Applications can be made to any or to all of the Clubs.  They maintain their own Judges Lists and Criteria which can vary, so you may want to check with them for details; or you may wish to complete the form and request to be placed on an appropriate list.

The CV questionnaire can be sent to any or all of the individual Clubs.

Breed Council lists are reviewed annually during the summer and approved at its meeting in October.

Specifically for the A3 List, Member Clubs have the opportunity to nominate candidates and all Member Clubs are invited to vote.  If subsequently nominated to award CCs in the breed for the first time, a judge on the Breed Council’s A3 list would not need to go through a Kennel Club ‘opinion letter’ voting process as they are deemed already to have the support of the Council/Clubs.

A copy of the Judges Lists is available in the Downloads section; or separate lists for A1, A2, A3 and B Judges are available

Further details for A1 Judges are available on the Kennel club website; including direct email facilities:
